1. Peering
The project by Zaklina Zwierko called Home Care Home caught my attention as there is a lot of thought and consideration throughout the project showing her personality and creative flair. The project explores a new and welcoming community hub and care home combined for the future aging generation. The visual aspect of her work initially drew my attention. The sketchy style and overlapping of visuals are aesthetically pleasing, the way she has used a combination of sketches and computer graphics is particularly intriguing.
2. Provoking.
The Interior- The art of living. It considers both form and function in the response to human environments. An effort to bridge the gap between interiors and exteriors, connecting with the user while remaining inclusive. Connecting people, spaces and ideas, creating spacial solutions for the future.

GRAPHICS AND DEMARCATED BOUNDARIES THAT DEFINE ZONES AND ACTIVITIES WITHIN A WORKPLACE 2015
LOCATION: SINGAPORE
DESIGNER: SCA DESIGN, A MEMBER OF ONG&ONG GROUP (WWW.SCA- DESIGN.COM) MAJOR
I find this project particularly intriguing as it adapts to the occupants needs keeping the workplace inclusive to everyone. I also find it interesting to have key words displayed around the space as an indication to the use of each section. This allows the space to be visual and separated into different zones for intended purposes.
UVA SOUND LOUNGE
COLLEGIATE STUDENT LOUNGE THAT BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER THROUGH SHARED SOUND SPACES 2009
LOCATION: CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, UNITED STATES
DESIGNERS: JOEL SANDERS ARCHITECT (WWW.JOELSANDERSARCHITECT.COM), KAREN VAN LENGEN ARCHITECT
The idea of a social space that encourages dialogue and conversation is particularly fascinating. The idea of the university student lounge being separated into zones by different music taste instantly sparks up conversation encouraging social integration. This interaction is made easier by being around people with the same music taste.
DE HOGEWEYK
VILLAGE THAT SUPPORTS PEOPLE LIVING WITH SEVERE DEMENTIA 2010
LOCATION: WEESP, NETHERLANDS DESIGNER: VIVIUM CARE GROUP (WWW.BETHECARECONCEPT.COM)
This project intrigued me as the 152 residents living here have the ability to do everyday things which improve their quality of life. With the surroundings being adapted to the particular resident this makes it a home from home experience. Care homes tend to be more closed off where only family members can visit. With this village it gives the residents an opportunity to communicate with nonresidents and can participate in outings outwith the village supervised by staff.
OFFICES OF PONS + HUOT
OPEN OFFICE THAT CREATES AN UNCONVENTIONAL INTERIOR LANDSCAPE 2006
LOCATION: PARIS, FRANCE
DESIGNER: CHRISTIAN POTTGIESSER ARCHITECTURESPOSSIBLES / CPAP (WWW.POTTGIESSER.FR)
The idea of bringing the exterior into the interior caught my attention creating an interior landscape. The way the desks in the offices are bespoke and made to fit the space creates a clear flow and pathway to navigate through the space. The way they have incorporated the acrylic bubbles to create a sense of privacy is visually pleasing and practical for the office space.
